Hello! My name is Kiya (rhymes with papaya). Welcome to my portfolio website!
Here you’ll find various samples of work I’ve done for a library organization over the last six years, and a few examples of work I’ve done for private clients.

Education:
I received my Certificates in Graphic Design and Web Design from College of DuPage in 2016 before transferring to the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, where I earned my Bachelor’s in Communication Design in 2019.

About Me:
Growing up, I’ve always had a passion for the arts, including music. One of my favorite pastimes was drawing, so of course, Art would be my favorite class from Elementary through High School. As I got older, I took any opportunity possible to learn about other mediums such as painting, relief printing, charcoal portraits, t-shirt printing, you name it! Naturally, when it came time to decide what type of career I’d like to have, I knew that whatever I chose, art and design would have to be a part of it. Ultimately, I discovered Graphic Design, and the rest is history!

In my spare time, I can be found playing the guitar, reading manga, playing video games, or spending time with my orange cat, Wayne. I also love to travel whenever possible, and enjoy attending concerts and music festivals, and exploring downtown Chicago with friends and family.
